I'm in much more control with myself than you are.
[It comes out as a hiss. Where does this confidence come from? The man's experience is literally the three kisses that they've had but they still have the audacity to be a cocky bastard about it.
It sets something in him on fire. He wouldn't want it any other way and it makes him feel alive. Excited. He's trying not to push too quickly or too hard, but the other was making it painfully hard. His fingers are itching for more.]
Kim Dokja. [He outright growls this time.] You better hold your tongue. You don't want to tempt this.
[He can't help it. He really can't resist. This man brings out something in him that makes him want to push him to the very edge. Yoo Joonghyk is the most frustrating and annoying protagonist he can imagine, and he can't imagine ever rolling over for a bastard like that. At the same time he wants him so much that it's painful.
He wants to say: It seems like all it would take for you to lose control is for me to keep talking. He doesn't, because he knows that if he does, Yoo Joonghyk will walk away just to prove a point. He doesn't want that. He doesn't want this moment to end.
[This man is infuriating and frustrating and he wants them so damn much right now. It's nothing like Lee Seolhwa where their romance was much more gentle and soft. Lee Seolhwa was firm but gentle with her guidance while he struggled with the war in his heart.
Kim Dokja only seemed to know how to fan the flames and throw fuel into the fire. It leaves him wanting more and more. He wants all of him.
He pulls the other closer and grinds his hips down. The movement is so little. Enough to bring friction, but little enough that most wouldn't notice it. Well, the Constellations watching are probably acutely aware, but he's ignoring them. There's no privacy in their world, so he pretends they aren't there.]
I don't think you're in a position to be telling me to give up, Dokja-yah. [It was a bad idea to tell the other to give up for a tie. Yoo Joonghyuk was too competitive for that.]
[Kim Dokja can't help but moan as Yoo Joonghyk grinds against him. For a second he gets the same deer-in-headlights expression as he had earlier, as he realizes just how smug this bastard is gonna be. So he'd noticed that he was getting an erection. It was probably obvious when they were pressed against each other, but he'd been hoping.
He holds on a little bit tighter. It's strange to hear Yoo Joonghyk say his name like that, too, instead of just yelling it without honorifics. In the middle of this that's getting to him, too.]
Privacy doesn't exist as long as the Star Stream exists.
[He replies easily enough because it's not wrong. He also knows that the other isn't referring to that but that there are people waiting for them and watching them from afar.
The smaller man should have know better than to rile him up though. They seem to know exactly what buttons to push and how to work him up. It's dangerous and who is he to deny a bit of punishment if it means maybe teaching them to mind their tongue better.
He eyes the other like a predator accessing his prey.] What do you want? [He's asking for permission.]
[He doesn't comment on the Star Stream. He doesn't want to anger anyone following his channel, especially considering the move he pulled with them all earlier, to get them to subscribe. But he really wants to curse them all out for watching.
He doesn't want to think about any of that, but now that Yoo Joonghyuk has mentioned it, he can't help it.
He glances over his shoulder to where the others are. Looks back up at Yoo Joonghyk. He wets his lips a little. Maybe he can ignore the constellations, but he's still not answering that right here. He's not sure he knows how to answer.]
Can we go somewhere else first?
[He wants too much. He just wants to keep holding on.]
[He merely turns towards the group. They all probably want to rest a little with adrenaline subsiding and exhaustion must be settling in his bones.]
I'm borrowing him. [It's said with no room to argue as he lifts the man up bridal style. They'll just have to accept that the two of them will go missing for a little bit and make do with their time. Besides, isn't this a chance for everyone to rest for a bit? What does it matter if the two of them are gone for a little bit?
He ignores whatever knowing looks some of the party members give him as he activated Red Pheonix Shunpo to dash away. Despite him probably being one of the most exhausted of them, he still has the energy to manage this. He moves them away from people, which is probably the most private they're gonna get in a ruined city.
Yoo Joonghyuk puts him down, but he keeps him pressed close.] This is your last warning. [Because his hands want more. It wants to bury away the feeling of loss and the demons in his mind reminding him how weak he was to not only be protected but for them to die protecting him. He wants to drown out the pain of watching the man die right in front of him. He wants the solid presence of feeling the warm body under his touch to ground him.
[He tries to object as Yoo Joonghyk lifts him up like that, immediately and incredibly embarrassed. Everyone saw that. He's going to get teased about that for weeks.
He holds on tight as Yoo Joonghyk speeds away, though he knows the man would never drop him. That's the one good thing he can think about him right now. No matter how good looking he is, he's still a selfish, arrogant, sadistic bastard who is probably enjoying Kim Dokja's embarrassment immensely.
But any anger is drowned out by his desires for this man. He doesn't let go as he's finally set down, just tries to shove him backwards a bit to make a point, in lieu of actually punching him.]
I would have gone with you even if you didn't carry me.
[But the rest of the situation is... is --
He knows what Yoo Joonghyuk is talking about. He might be inexperienced, but he is a reader. He knows how these things go. It would be impossible not to want it, but faced with the very real possibility of this happening, nervousness starts welling up from underneath everything else that he's been feeling. He wets his lips, and laughs a little, awkwardly.]
It was quicker this way. Why are you complaining? [He raises an eyebrow as he answers so matter-of-factly. He isn't sure why the other is always so defiant when speaking to him. Even over things that he does which meant no offense. It was like the other only ever knew how to be difficult with him.
He doesn't understand why exactly.] Does it matter now? I took us somewhere else like you requested. You wanted somewhere more private did you not?
[It's not like he's expecting a thank you. That's not the point. He just was curious why the other doesn't seem pleased that he complied with what they wanted.
Yoo Joonghyuk doesn't respond to the question right away. He's looking at the other rather intently as he seems to ponder over the question. He sighs after a moment.] We won't go all the way. [He doesn't think that they would have the energy anyways and they really do lack the means for preparations. It's not like he's fully knowledgeable, but he knows enough.]
It's obviously embarrassing to be carried like that...
[Does he really not know? He really doesn't seem to know. Kim Dokja is tempted to activate Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint just to double check, but this man really seems to be clueless. He'll let it go, then, because it's too late anyway. The deed is done. He'll have to endure the endless teasing.
At least Han Sooyoong doesn't know about any of this.
He tries to compose himself again. He's doing a really bad job of it. He would have thought the embarrassment would have helped with his erection, but it seems to have had the opposite effect.]
I don't know why you were warning me like it's some sort of bad thing.
[It's asked so honestly. He thought the other would get mad if he carried him like a sack of potatoes, but he guesses he has a lot to learn about the particulars of this man. He isn't sure how exactly he should carry the other, but he'd also like for it not to be a normal enough occurrence for a multitude of reasons.]
We've barely met each other. [It hasn't been that long since the First Scenario even if it probably felt quite long. Still, they were strangers only moments ago in his eyes.] We've kissed only three times. [Kim Dokja was completely new to all of this. Would it not be responsible to warn the other and to try and have some restraint?] Tch...most people would prefer to be courted a little longer... [Yoo Joonghyuk seemed...a little embarrassed...
Despite his cold and heartless disposition; Yoo Joonghyuk was a romantic at heart.]
[He hesitates a little. Yoo Joonghyuk really hadn't done it to embarrass him, then, and his earnestness now was... It was so in contrast from the violent bastard he still kept expecting the protagonist to be. It was sweet.]
If you really have to carry me, that way is fine.
[He still would prefer to avoid it. Yoo Joonghyuk wasn't the one who'd be the target of everyone's teasing, while Kim Dokja seemed to attract those kinds of comments. Was it really important, though, compared to the fact that this man wanted him? It was difficult to shake a lifetime of protecting himself, but this was his soulmate.]
We don't have to do it now.
[The words are a bit painful to say. He's so worked up, all he wants is to throw himself at this man. Was Yoo Joonghyuk always this hesitant? Kim Dokja thought back to Ways of Survival. Yoo Joonghuk almost never took a lover, throughout all his regressions, and there were always people interested in him... Lee Seolhwa was one of the rare exceptions. And yes, it had taken her some time to get through to the guarded protagonist.
He shoves down his disappointment, his insecure thoughts.]
[Yoo Joonghyuk takes a deep breath. He's...obviously frustrated in a lot of ways right now. He really wants this, but he's also the more experienced party. He wanted to do things right. Or as right as one can do during an apocalypse.]
I don't want to wait. [He grits out.] I'm trying to be mindful. [Yoo Joonghyuk has always been a man who just went for whatever he wanted, but that wasn't how relationships worked. Communicating through words isn't exactly his forte and the other was being rather difficult by not outright saying things. It was really trying his patience.]
I want to do something. [He just thinks it would be better not to do go too far right now. Not when they were still so tired and not when the other was so very new to a relationship.] I want to make sure you're alright with this.
[He still doesn't really understand the hesitation, then. Kim Dokja obviously wants this, and it's not something that really needs a warning, which is the word Yoo Joonghyk had used. But maybe he's thinking that because of his inexperience.
At any rate, he knows what Yoo Joonghyk wants to hear.]
Yes. [One word. Unmistakable.] I'm alright with this.
[It still goes against his very nature to be so straightforward with his answers, but it's the only thing that will get them anywhere here.]
[It was more than enough. All he needed to hear is that one word and there was no reason for him to talk anymore. He had always been someone who talked with his actions, so it was just easier to express his want and need for the other through that.
Yoo Joonghyuk immediately leans down to capture the other in a searing kiss. He easily shrugs his coat off and letting it pool around his feet; not caring for it in the least as his attention is completely stuck on the other. The man was more obviously well built without the coat obscuring his figure somewhat. It was a body that wasn't built purely off coins, but of his own training.
His fingers easily move to push the smaller man's coat off those slim shoulders. Kim Dokja was plain in appearance to some extent, but they were still somehow the most breathtaking person in his eyes.
He already wanted to touch the other so bad. To feel their skin under his fingers. It was maddening.]
[Somehow the way Yoo Joonghyuk kisses him is still overwhelming. It's a few moments where he forgets to breathe, and then he discovers that both their coats are already on the ground.
He wonders if it's even possible to get used to this. Yoo Joonghyuk is the most intense man he's ever met, even more intense than Ways of Survival described him as. He wants to touch. He wants to keep kissing. He's not sure where to start, but Yoo Joonghyuk clearly does, so he steps closer, moves his hands up to rest on the man's chest, and then - with some uncertainty - gets at least a couple of buttons open.
He has to be twice the size of Kim Dokja with all that muscle he can feel under his shirt.]
[He easily untucks Kim Dokja's shirt so that one hand can slip underneath the fabric and explore smooth skin underneath. Kim Dokja had no scars and was smooth in comparison to Yoo Joonghyuk. Scars littered his body and his hands were rough with callouses and just as many scars.]
You're too thin. [He pulls away just for a moment to say that before he's quickly back to devouring that mouth. He thinks the other should definitely train more though.
His free hand moves to start unbuttoning the top buttons of the thinner man's shirt to expose that neck he wanted to mark so bad.]
[The feeling of Yoo Joonghyuk touching his bare skin makes him moan, pressing himself closer instinctively. It feels impossibly good. At the same time it makes him feel vulnerable, a feeling he tries his best to shove down somewhere deep.
That comment makes him hesitate again.]
What my body looks like doesn't matter anymore. It doesn't reflect strength in the scenarios.
[It's defensive. It's probably too defensive. But he knows he's small compared to this man, who is some sort of perfect specimen, the ideal protagonist. They really are opposites in so many ways.]
[He can't help but huff out a laugh. It wasn't that the reaction was unexpected, but he didn't expect the other to respond so strongly too.] You're so damn sensitive. [It's not said as an insult, but there's a darker tone to his voice. He's committing everything to memory and knowing how easily the other might fall apart with his ministrations...]
Do you eat enough? Do you even train? [ He isn't judging the other's appearance to judge him but more out of concern that the other isn't taking care of himself. Coins was a lofty bandaid for actually taking care of oneself.
He starts trailing kisses down Kim Dokja's jaw and neck.] You need to take better care of yourself.
[He hadn't expected this to turn into a commentary on his healthy or unhealthy habits. He didn't think it mattered anymore, if it ever had, when his goal had never been to be an athlete.]
Does carrying your dead weight around count as training?
[The kisses are spreading goosebumps across his skin. It's distracting him from the commentary, at least a little, but he still feels like he has a point to make. His hands drop down from Yoo Joonghyk's chest, and instead move to pick him up, so he can hopefully push him against a nearby wall.]
[Yoo Joonghyuk tenses a little when he's lifted. Like Kim Dokja, the man wasn't very good at being vulnerable or being put in a position where he might be vulnerable. It made sense given what the regressor had gone through, but it takes him a moment to relax. He lets the other do as he pleases. The other surely knows he can easily overpower him if he wanted to.]
It does matter. [Kim Dokja knows it matters. If Yoo Joonghyuk didn't train; he'd never manage to get to the end. Especially given the sword techniques that he had learned. He would never be able to use what he knew without training harshly.
He'll take his time to really observe the other. From soft hair to pale, smooth skin. Long eyelashes and a slim body. He now has the time to really give the other a proper once over.] It isn't bad. [He does still think the other should train and definitely eat more, but it isn't like he completely disapprove of the other. He's incapable of that anyways.]
[Maybe he should try working out a little bit, to improve that assessment. On the other hand, he's probably a lost cause. And instead of thinking about that, he'd much rather get back to what they were doing a moment ago, when Yoo Joonghyuk's hands were touching him.
The downside to lifting him up is that now it really would be impossible to kiss him. His hands aren't free to touch, either. He really didn't think this through. He sets him down again, but keeps him pushed against the wall, before getting up on the very tips of his toes so he can kiss him.]
Maybe you should be thinking about something else.
[He tugs at Yoo Joonghyuk's shirt, making a button pop loose. It's a small act of revenge, but it's satisfying.]
[Maybe he should cook for the other. If they aren't gonna feed themselves then he will have to.
He leans down so he can return the kiss, but it's short-lived as he pulls away so he can presses kisses against his neck again. Once he gets to the junction between shoulder and neck; he sinks his teeth in to leave a mark.]
I'm thinking about you, aren't I?
[He clicks his tongue.] Tsk. You better replace that. [He pulls away slightly so he can unbutton and toss his shirt off and revealing toned abs and stomach for the other. He returns to nipping at that pale neck of his.]
[He knows that argument won't go over well, but the point here isn't appeasing the other. They have different priorities, that's all, and Kim Dokja feels he's been doing well for himself considering.
Though now he's the one who ends up distracted by the other. His mind goes blank for a second at the bite. He moans, the pain making him twist his body as he feels a shudder build along his spine. He digs his fingers into Yoo Joonghyuk's hips.]
[He would argue more with the other, but he tucks that away for the time being. It's a conversation for another time.
Instead, he smirks a little as he unbuttons the rest of their shirt to access more skin; nipping and sucking at pale skin.]
Ah, these type of noises are far more suitable than your chatter. [It's rather nice. The other was so responsive to his actions and he was quite enjoying it.] Weren't you the one who told me to give up and take a tie, but I feel as though I'm the one with the advantage.
